Welcome to the Neath Port Talbot Citizens’ Panel.

Neath Port Talbot Borough Council has selected Opinion Research Services (ORS), an independent research organisation, to manage the panel on their behalf.

By joining the panel, you, as a resident of Neath and Port Talbot, will have a chance to take part in research relating to the council. This means you will be able to tell us what you think about council policies, priorities and/or services. The feedback helps us to understand the residents’ perspective and is used to help make decisions.

You do not need any knowledge of council services to become a member of the panel. We are looking for a variety of views from a range of different people. Panel members may be asked to take part in online questionnaires, informal discussions, workshops, telephone interviews and other forms of consultation.

If you want to join the panel you will be asked to provide some personal details. This will allow us to contact you and also make sure that we have a diverse group of people taking part in the research (e.g. people of different ages, different gender, and different ethnicities). No information you provide will be passed to third parties without your permission and the information you provide will be used for research purposes only.
