Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is required to produce a Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) to identify risks within its areas of responsibility and outline how it will respond to them, ensuring public safety.
SFRS’s forthcoming CRMP outlines the Service’s strategic priorities, which are organised under three main themes:
- Use of innovative technology
- Climate and environmental impact
- Operational excellence
SFRS is undertaking this consultation to gather the views of local residents, staff, and other stakeholders on these strategic priorities, covering the period April 2025 to March 2028.
To give your feedback, complete this questionnaire or request a paper copy by emailing enquiries@shropshirefire.gov.uk. All questionnaires should be completed by Friday 27th December; it should take around 10 minutes of your time and we welcome responses from everyone, including members of the public, organisations and SFRS employees.
To find out more before answering the questions, please read SFRS’s accompanying CRMP Risk Analysis document available here.
SFRS has appointed Opinion Research Service (ORS), as an independent social research company, to manage the consultation and questionnaire responses. ORS will faithfully report the outcomes, in which the views of individual members of the public will be anonymous; but where feedback is from a representative of an organisation or someone acting in their official capacity, it may be attributed.
All the questions are optional, and all information you provide will be processed by ORS in accordance with the latest data protection regulations. Any personal information will be kept for no more than 1 year after any decisions have been finalised. For further information, please see www.shropshirefire.gov.uk/site-help/privacy-policy or www.ors.org.uk/privacy
If you have any queries about the consultation, you can email SFRS on enquiries@shropshirefire.gov.uk or Beth Burke at ORS on beth.burke@ors.org.uk. You can contact the Market Research Society on 0800 975 9596 to confirm that ORS is a genuine research practice.
