Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service’s (HWFRS’s) Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) is the overarching strategy that HWFRS develop and publish every five years. It is designed to assist the Service in identifying the range of risks in its communities that helps to keep you, your home, your community and your environment safe from fire and other emergencies.
The draft CRMP 2025-2030 provides an overview of the foreseeable fire and rescue related risks HWFRS believe may occur across both counties and sets out HWFRS’s high-level plans for tackling those risks through their Prevention, Protection and Response strategies.
HWFRS, under the governance of the Fire Authority (FRA), is undertaking this consultation to gather the views of local residents, staff, and other stakeholders on these priorities over the next five years. To find out more before answering the questions, please read the information on the following page and HWFRS’s accompanying draft CRMP document.
To give your feedback, please complete this questionnaire by 7 April 2025. It should take around 10 minutes of your time and we welcome responses from everyone.
HWFRS has appointed Opinion Research Service (ORS), as an independent social research company, to manage the consultation and questionnaire responses. ORS will faithfully report the outcomes, in which the views of individual members of the public will be anonymous; but where feedback is from a representative of an organisation or someone acting in their official capacity, it may be attributed.
All the questions are optional, and all information you provide will be processed by ORS in accordance with the latest data protection regulations. Any personal information will be kept for no more than 1 year after any decisions have been finalised. For further information, please see https://www.hwfire.org.uk/privacy-policy/ or www.ors.org.uk/privacy
If you have any queries about the consultation, you can email HWFRS on TMorgan@HWFire.org.uk or Beth Burke at ORS on beth.burke@ors.org.uk. You can contact the Market Research Society on 0800 975 9596 to confirm that ORS is a genuine research practice.
