Please use this short form to register your interest in taking part in an online focus group for young people (aged 16 - 24) to discuss possible changes to the way councils are organised across Leicestershire and Rutland.

The group will be held on Microsoft Teams between 6pm and 7:45pm on Monday 30 June (you don't need a Teams account to take part). It will be a chance for you and others in your age group to share your thoughts on changes suggested by the Leicestershire borough/district councils and Rutland County Council. It will be run by Opinion Research Services (ORS), an independent social research organisation, who will report all feedback anonymously so you can have an open and honest discussion. To thank you for your time, you will be offered a £60 GiftPay voucher, which can be spent in a range of places (please see here).

The deadline to register is Monday 23 June 2025 at 12 noon. Please note that spaces at the focus group will be limited to 10. If there are more people interested than places, ORS will review and choose participants to make sure there is a range of people and areas represented. We'd be grateful if you could answer the questions below to help us do this, but they all have a 'prefer not to say' option if you'd rather not.

The information you provide will only be held by ORS, who are running the focus groups on behalf of the councils. It won’t be passed to any third party.
