East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) is required to produce a Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) to identify risks such as the risk of a fire in homes or having a road traffic collision. It then sets priorities to reduce those risks, for example to run safety initiatives, and how it will respond to fires and other emergencies within available resources.
ESFRS is undertaking this consultation to gather the views of local residents, staff, businesses, partners and other stakeholders on its overall objectives for 2025 - 2030.
To give your feedback, please complete this questionnaire by 31 October 2025. It should take around 10 minutes of your time.
To find out more before answering the questions, please read the accompanying draft CRMP.
ESFRS has appointed Opinion Research Service (ORS), an independent social research company, to manage the consultation and questionnaire responses. ORS will faithfully report the outcomes, in which the views of individual respondents will be anonymous; but where feedback is from a representative of an organisation or someone acting in their official capacity, it may be attributed.
All the questions are optional, you are able to withdraw at any time, and all information you provide will be processed by ORS in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
ESFRS is the data controller, and ORS is the data processor. Any personal information will be kept for no more than 1 year after any decisions have been finalised.
For further information, please see www.ors.org.uk/privacy or www.esfrs.org/privacy-notice
If you have any queries about the questionnaire, you can email Catherine Wall at ORS on catherine.wall@ors.org.uk. You can contact the Market Research Society on 0800 975 9596 to confirm that ORS is a genuine research practice.
